Our Approach:
Like any endeavor in life, it takes commitment to reap the rewards of dance. Our program is a 9-month curriculum designed to help your child develop physically, emotionally, cognitively, and socially by overcoming challenges, working with a team, moving outside their comfort zone, learning to emote, and performing onstage in front of an audience at the end of the year.
Our Promise:
We are fully committed to your child's success, and will monitor his/her progress throughout the year. We ask parents to help us teach your child to see his/her commitment through the year and take pride in having a part to play in the success of their class's dance. We will always be available for one-on-one conferences to discuss your child's dance experience and to ensure that he/she is thriving in our program.

The Policy:
- All students have 2 weeks to try a class before they are committed for the full Academic Year season (September-June).
- If a family withdraws after 3 or more weeks of class, they are responsible for 50% of the remaining balance for the year as long as the studio is open and running in-person classes.
- Registration fees and costume fees are non-refundable.
- Balances due for a dropped class can be used towards switching to a different class or enrolling a sibling to take your child's place as long as this happens before January 1st.
- If a student needs to withdraw due to severe injury, illness, debilitating family circumstance, or home relocation, parents must submit a Doctor's note or other reason for withdrawal to Director, Erica Sperberg for review on a case-by-case basis.
- In the event that we have to shut down our in-studio classes, we will continue the regular dance schedule via Zoom. Teachers will be asked to teach from the studio to optimize video quality. We will require a cancellation fee of 1 tuition installation. During the 1 month following your cancellation date, your dancer will be able to take classes via Zoom. After 30 days, your dancer will have the option to stay on virtually or fully withdraw from the program.
Why we have this Policy:
- To encourage students to experience the true growth opportunities that come from a completed dance year.
- Each dancer's spot in class is unable to be filled mid-year and prevents other children from being able to join.
- Dance is a team activity! Choreography for the recital is based on the exact number and skill levels of the students in the class. When one student leaves, it makes it difficult for the entire class.
- As a certified member of the national I.D.E.A. dance studio network, our studio's withdrawal policy' complies with the common standards of other dance studio programs across the country.
