The Dance Academy is excited to announce their Open Company Auditions for the upcoming 2018-2019 season. Our intensive program is for dancers looking for a more serious track, requiring more commitment and time dancing. Our intensive dancers are leaders at the studio and compete at regional competitions during the spring season, as well a charity showcase with the amazing Phunk Phenomenon.
This year, TDA is also offering a pre professional level for dancers interested in getting a taste of what the next step in their dance career could be like. Auditions ARE required for dancers interested in being on a company and competing. The audition process will involve the dancers performing a variety of styles and they will be judged by a panel of our TDA teachers and directors. Level placement will be based on ability. We are so excited to see the talent in our Boston community! Bring your positive energy, smiles, and water. :) |

What you need to know:
If you have already been invited to a company for the 2018-2019 year, this audition is not required.

Dress Code: All black dance attire (something you are able to move in, and is not too baggy or distracting) Bring all dance shoes!
Hair: Neatly pulled back and out of your face Time: Please arrive a half hour ahead of your group start time so we can hand out numbers and register our dancers (Your number given is how our judges will keep track of scoring) Scoring: Each dancer's scoring and placement will be based off their ability in the techniques performed at the audition. We will be offering a freestyle portion at the end, for dancer's to have an opportunity to show off any special skills they have. Ages 9-12: 1-2:30
